Ambassadors

CHERI adoption grows when trusted community members can explain the technology in ways that resonate with developers, researchers, industry professionals, educators, and policymakers. The Ambassador Programme supports people who want to help make those connections.

What ambassadors do

Ambassadors choose activities that match their interests, skills, and availability. These may include:

• writing tutorials, articles, demonstrations, or technical papers
• giving talks and creating video or presentation material
• sharing accurate news and practical experience
• helping with conferences, workshops, and online events
• introducing organisations and communities to the Alliance
• Mentoring newcomers and supporting community projects
• Providing feedback on educational materials and outreach activities

Ambassadors act in accordance with Alliance policies and programme guidance. The role does not make an ambassador a governing-board member, product certifier, or official spokesperson for the entire Alliance.

Joining the programme

The programme is open to people with a genuine interest in CHERI, cybersecurity, and community engagement. Applicants should be active within a relevant technical, research, industry, education, or regional community and interested in helping others learn about CHERI.
