On the November 12, 2024, the Hub8 MX in Cheltenham hosted a groundbreaking event that bridged the gap between cutting-edge cybersecurity research and real-world industry implementation. Hosted by NCSC, Cynam, and the CHERI Alliance, this free-to-attend conference provided an opportunity to dive deep into the CHERI architecture—a revolutionary approach to securing future digital systems.

Through insightful keynotes and discussions from leaders from NCSC, DSbD, University of Cambridge, and CHERI Alliance, attendees explored the intersection of government initiatives and industry collaboration. Topics ranged from the semi-technical introduction of CHERI to industry-specific strategies for driving security innovation.

There were thought-provoking speeches, exhibitions showcasing open-source and collaborative projects, and a networking reception to close the day.
